Natham Park Arabian Stud at 396 Moore Rd Kurwongbah is home to Yvonne Barlow-Turner and her husband Ian Turner.  Together they are very proud of the gorgeous Arabian horses that share their life.  Ian recently bought Yvonne a beautiful imported  chestnut-colt called CHARMING VC (Magnum Psyche x VC Couture (Da-Vinci) for her 60th Birthday.  As Yvonne says he is “Charming by name and by nature”  Charming will make his debut into the show scene at the A Class 2011 Arabian Valley Gala Show at Ipswich.

Yvonne and her first husband Art (who passed away in 2005) started their breeding program in 1996 with the purchase of 1 brood mare, Pembac Gai Myst (called Mysty) (Gai General x Pembac Park Khamis) who she shared with her daughter Melissa (now Melissa Reid of Reid River Arabians).  Mysty has had one foal now a gelding for Yvonne called Natham Park Thammus who is enjoying life as a well-known endurance horse.   Mysty is still owned by Melissa,   This first love of the Arabian led to her purchase of Redwood Lodge Meekah (GG Magnetism x Kismarah) and chose the very beautiful Om El Abadan-Imp-USA/France who became the 1997 Reserve-World-Champion stallion (Carmargue x Bint Estopa) to put her in foal to.   Carmargue himself being the 1985 World-Champion stallion.   This fabulous mating of Om El Abadan and Redwood Lodge Meekah was the result of their fairytale Stallion Natham Park Adamah.

Born in 1997 this incredibly beautiful bay colt transformed into the ethereal grey huge moving stallion the Arabian industry knows so well.   This Multi-A-Class-Champion Senior Stallion (now 14 years old) has been their pride and joy.   He is still a very athletic fairytale type with an incredible seahorse-head. Visitors must beware as he is so friendly he generally licks everyone.

Adamah certainly has the looks, and this mating of Carmargue to Bint Estopa (introducing the El Shaklan-influence) is what attracted Yvonne to breed these lines.  The bringing together of these Spanish  bloodlines.  GG Magnetism (Meekah’s sire) was the breeding of An-Malik, the Spanish-National-Champion and CC Montessa  (dam to 9 US and Canadian-National- Champions).   Yvonne has also bred Meekah to Lea Ma Park Bey Shine (Rave VF x Promised Lane Jaimilla) with a resulting huge chestnut colt now a stallion doing endurance.

Yvonne and Art purchased the very beautiful big bay mare Pembac Annataysha (Pembac Park Keegan x Pembac Park Hannah) and have now had 4 foals (1 grey, 1 bay and 2 chestnuts) from the mating of Adamah to Annie….

  • The first being the very gentle and beautiful Natham Park A’dreamah  (grey). Born in 2001   A’dreamah herself being a multi-supreme champion filly.   She has a foal of her own now to Abu Shaklan called Abu Dreamah (born in 2010)
  • The second being the delightful natured big bodied (chestnut) mare Natham Park A’dancer.  Born in 2002.    A’dancer has not been shown at this stage and is a future bride to Charming VC.
  • The third is the mega delightful natured (bay) stallion Natham Park A’damant.   Born in 2004 he is the epitome of graceful movement.  His nature is second to none and his beauty quite remarkable.    He is about to begin a saddle career for the Arabian industry to view.
  • The fourth is the long necked elegant (chestnut) gelding Natham Park A’dishaan.  Born in 2006 he is about to commence a fabulous endurance career.
